Application Procedure
General Information for Application
2010 Illinois Wing Summer Encampment
All cadet applications for encampment must be received with the appropriate fee by 20 June 2010. Applications received incomplete or without full payment will be returned to the applicant. Any applications received after 20 June 2010 will not be considered. No walk-ins will be accepted at the encampment.
When you apply DO NOT
- DO NOT send any summer encampment application materials to Illinois Wing Headquarters.
- DO NOT send any summer encampment application materials to National Headquarters.
- DO NOT send any summer encampment application materials to Camp Lincoln.
- DO NOT send any summer encampment application materials through a service that requires a signature to receive the packet. I am not a home to sign for any packages and I am unable to get o the Post Office during normal business hours.
Please do the following:
- Please type all CAPF 31′s when possible
- Please provide a current email address that your check often.
- Please print or type your contact information so that we can read it.
- Make sure your Cadets First and Last Name are in the MEMO section of the check or money order.

To apply for the BASIC CADET ENCAMPMENT (1st year at summer encampment),
Complete:
- CAPF 31 with: signatures from you, your parents, and your squadron commander; accurate e-mail address; accurate telephone numbers; current weight; complete and accurate medical information including medical conditions and medications; and insurance information.
- Complete the Parental Consent Statement with all necessary information and signatures.
- Make checks payable to 2010 ILWG Summer Encampment.
- Print the cadet’s first and last name in the memo line on the check.
- Mail all forms (3 total) with the encampment fee of $145.00 to: 2010 ILWG Summer Encampment, Maj G Kelly Robertson, CAP, 13959 St Hwy 14, Benton, IL 62812.
To apply for Advanced Training Squadron (2nd year at summer encampment or two weekend encampments),
Complete:
- CAPF 31 with: signatures from you, your parents, and your squadron commander; accurate e-mail address; accurate telephone numbers; current weight; complete and accurate medical information including medical conditions and medications; and insurance information.
- Write ATS in red across the top of the CAPF 31.
- In the space on page two, list the year, type, and location of previous encampments you have attended
- Complete the Parental Consent Statement with all necessary information and signatures.
- Make checks payable to 2010 ILWG Summer Encampment.
- Print the cadet’s first and last name in the memo line on the check.
- Mail all forms (3 total) with the encampment fee of $145.00 to: 2010 ILWG Summer Encampment, Maj G Kelly Robertson, CAP, 13959 St Hwy 14, Benton, IL 62812.
To apply for COMMUNICATIONS SCHOOL
Cadets:
- Complete a CAPF 31 with: signatures from you, your parents, and your squadron commander; accurate e-mail address; accurate telephone numbers; current weight; complete and accurate medical information including medical conditions and medications; and insurance information.
- Write COM SCHOOL in red on the top of your CAPF 31.
- In the space on page two, list the year, type, and location of previous encampments you have attended.
- Complete the Parental Consent Statement with all necessary information and signatures.
- Make checks payable to 2010 ILWG Summer Encampment.
- Print the cadet’s first and last name in the memo line on the check.
- Mail all forms (3 total) with the encampment fee of $145.00 to: 2010 ILWG Summer Encampment, Maj G Kelly Robertson, CAP, 13959 St Hwy 14, Benton, IL 62812.

Seniors:
- Complete a CAPF 31 with: accurate e-mail address; accurate telephone numbers; complete and accurate medical information including medical conditions and medications; and insurance information.
- Write COM SCHOOL in red on the top of your CAPF 31.
- Mail all forms (2 total) to 2010 ILWG Summer Encampment, Maj G Kelly Robertson, CAP, 13959 St Hwy 14, Benton, IL 62812.

To apply for FIRST RESPONDER SCHOOL.
Cadets:
- Be at least 16 years old by the start of Summer Encampment.
- Complete a CAPF 31 with: signatures from you, your parents, and your squadron commander; accurate e-mail address; accurate telephone numbers; current weight; complete and accurate medical information including medical conditions and medications; and insurance information.
- Write FIRST RESPONDER SCHOOL in red on the top of your CAPF 31.
- In the space on page two, list the year, type, and location of previous encampments you have attended.
- Complete the Parental Consent Statement with all necessary information and signatures.
- Make checks payable to 2010 ILWG Summer Encampment.
- Print the cadet’s first and last name in the memo line on the check.
